To measure the success of our advertising activities, we use conversion tracking from Google Ads. If defined goals (“conversions”) are achieved on our website, such as completing an order or signing up for our newsletter, Google records the achievement of this goal. Google can thus count the number of goal achievements. In addition, previously set cookies from Google are used exclusively to assign already-clicked ads and are therefore technically required to achieve the goal. Google processes this data on servers in the USA, but does not combine them with your personal data from your Google account.

reCAPTCHA is used to check whether data entry on our website (e.g. in contact forms or during the order process) is carried out by a human or by an automated program. For this, reCAPTCHA analyses user behaviour based on different characteristics. The analysis starts automatically when a user enters the website. To do so, reCAPTCHA analyses various information (e.g. IP address, amount of time the website visitor spends on the website, mouse movements, or device and browser settings). The data collected during analysis is transmitted to Google. The use of reCAPTCHA is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in protecting our website from abusive automated data harvesting and spam.

YouTube can directly attribute your surfing behaviour to your personal profile if you are logged into your YouTube account. You can prevent this by logging out beforehand.
The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online content.
Details on handling user data can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy

In what way Facebook uses the data from visits to Facebook pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook page are assigned to individual users, how long Facebook stores this data, and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is passed on to third parties is not conclusively and clearly stated by Facebook and is unknown to us. When accessing a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is anonymised (for “German” IP addresses). Facebook also stores information about users’ end devices (e.g. as part of the “login notification” feature); it is thus sometimes possible for Facebook to assign IP addresses to individual users. If you are currently logged into Facebook as a user, a cookie with your Facebook ID is stored on your device. This enables Facebook to track that you have accessed this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Facebook pages. By means of Facebook buttons embedded in websites, Facebook is able to track your visits to these websites and assign them to your Facebook profile. Such data can be used to provide content or advertisements tailored to you.
If you wish to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or deactivate the “stay logged in” function, delete the cookies present on your device, and close and restart your browser.
